Get a healthy glow. 3 detoxifying herbs for beautiful, glowing skin. Tried & Approved!

3 herbs that detox your body naturally

#1 Stinging Nettle (part 1)

One of my favorite herb detoxes for skin that glows (and I mean that you will wake up looking fresh) is nettle. Nettle is rich in the mineral silica which is essential for healthy hair, skin and nails. Drinking a nettle tisane allows a gentle detox of the body to help support the liver and kidneys in flushing waste from the body.

It is one of the most nutrient dense plants on earth. This highly nutritive herb is the most concentrated plant source of iron and chlorophyll, and is also rich in protein, selenium, magnesium, potassium, calcium and vitamins A, C D, K, and most Bs.

BENEFITS: Drink this beauty potion daily and you will quickly feel more energized (it is really nutritious), it will also clean you out. It helps the body get rid of accumulated waste in the blood and elimination organs, especially the kidneys.

#1 Stinging nettle (part 2)

After one or two weeks, the skin should clear up and look better than before. With consistent use over a month, here’s what I noticed: it stimulated hair growth for me and STRONGER hair. Also, nettle has visibly improved my skin tone resulting in skin that looks healthier and that glows.

INSTRUCTIONS: Place a handful of nettles leaves in a cup, and pour the boiling water over to fill, and let steep for 15 minutes. Then strain and drink. Once nettle is soaked or cooked in water or dried, it will not sting.

#2 Burdock

Burdock is a legume rich in many minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium. It is often described as a “blood purifier” and apparently has active ingredients that have been found to detoxify heavy metals from the blood, improving organ health and the health of the whole body.

Everyone can integrate burdock into their diet. It is very nutritious and rich in alkaline minerals. Its taste is sweet, slightly bitter and earthy. Delicious!

Burdock is a classic remedy in the treatment of many skin disorders, whether chronic or not. It is toning, nutritious and detoxifying, its actions extend to the digestive, hepatic, lymphatic and renal spheres, which are all important for the health of the skin.

It’s a great remedy for:

– Acne
– Eczema
– Excess of sebum (oily skin)
– Dandruff and itching of the scalp

Make your own burdock herbal tea: Boil 1 tablespoon of burdock in gentle heat for 30 mins. Then strain and drink.

#3 Dandelion

Dandelion root is another amazing herb used in herbal therapy to help cleanse the liver and fight skin infections.

It’s a great remedy for:

– Skin problems, breakouts, acne

– Hives
– Psoriasis
– Eczema

Make your own dandelion herbal tea: Boil 1 tablespoon of dandelion root in gentle heat for 30 mins. Then strain and drink. You may also combine the root with dandelion leaves for best benefits.
